Meet the Band
Jessica — Vocals

(PLACEHOLDER FOR HEADSHOT)
Jessica is one of the lead vocalists for Rockslide, bringing dance-party energy and classic-rock roots to every performance.
Her passion for rock music grew from blasting Baltimore rock radio in the car with her dad, Marty. At home, ’60s and ’70s rock poured from the basement stereo, plus the regular sound of her dad’s acoustic guitar. Her first concert experience was in 1997, when she saw Fleetwood Mac from her dad’s shoulders.
Jess also grew up surrounded by Irish singers on her dad’s side – not quite Von Trapp level, but close! Christmas carols, Broadway tunes, and group renditions of “Danny Boy” were staples of family holidays and nurtured her love of singing. Jess learned to read music through classical training in the flute, including duets with a Peabody flutist and participation in a flute choir.
After moving to Austin, the infectious spirit of the Live Music Capital of the World inspired Jessica to join the Round Rock School of Rock. She credits her Rockslide bandmates, along with the entire School of Rock crew, for helping unleash her inner rockstar.
Jessica’s musical influences include Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, the White Stripes, Meat Loaf, Paramore, Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks, Lzzy Hale, and the indomitable Jack Black.
When she’s not rocking out with the Rocksliders, you’ll find Jess hiking the nearest peak, two-stepping, nerding out on local government issues, or catching other bands around town.
Stephanie — Vocals

(PLACEHOLDER FOR HEADSHOT)
Stephanie’s love of singing began in the choir — way back in the 1900s. Music has always been her happy place, the thing she returns to no matter what else is going on in life. When she moved into rock vocals, it felt less like a leap and more like coming home.
As a lead singer, Stephanie can carry a song out front — but what really sets her apart is her ear for harmony. She loves finding the part that makes everything around it sound bigger, and that instinct adds a unique, layered dynamic to Rockslide’s sound. Her love of rock, paired with years of vocal work, has connected her with great musicians and even better friends along the way.
More than anything, she lives to jam with her band fam and feed off the energy of a crowd. On stage, you can count on confident, powerful vocals — but you can just as easily count on a genuinely good time.
Influences like Journey, Phil Collins, Aerosmith, Adele, Alabama, Bonnie Raitt, and Guns N’ Roses have all shaped her sound. When she’s not on stage, Stephanie can be found spending time with her husband and two teens or working hard on her local small business. When she can get away, it’s usually on a road-trip adventure with her family — to the beach or the mountains.
Pranav — Drummer

(PLACEHOLDER FOR HEADSHOT)
Bringing slick grooves and enough dynamic energy to make the cymbals file a complaint, Pranav literally hits!
His musical journey started with the beat. Long before he owned a single drumstick, the parts of his favorite songs that grabbed him hardest were always the drums, so four years ago, he decided he’d had enough of just listening and learned to make the racket himself. He got hooked on live shows almost immediately, and there’s been no intervention successful enough to stop him since.
A self-professed gigantic metalhead, more of a dragger than a rusher, Pranav looks up to drummers like Matt Halpern, Nic Pettersen of Northlane, and II of Sleep Token, players who treat time signatures as polite suggestions. He smuggles all that metal-forged precision and power into Rockslide’s classic rock set, where he’s happiest being loud and having fun, but he always saves room for a few dance grooves so the crowd has an excuse to embarrass themselves.
When he’s not behind the kit, you’ll find him cooking up something ambitious, scaling rock walls, building AI that will hopefully remember him fondly, and gaming. Let’s rock!
Eli — Lead Guitar

(PLACEHOLDER FOR HEADSHOT)
Eli is one of two guitar players in Rockslide. His years of experience and ability to seamlessly blend genres allow him to bring the energy and creativity needed for a great show.
Eli’s musical journey started at a young age, playing Guitar Hero. A friend’s dad said, “You know I can play that on the real guitar,” and he was sold. The classic rock songs of generations before were gateways into the playing that would shape his sound and style for decades to come. Eli’s love of rock and metal eventually evolved into a fondness for funk, soul, and R&B, and even country.
Eli’s played as a hired gun with several acts, ranging from cover bands to original progressive metal acts, neo-soul groups, and so much more. Eli also enjoys media projects and can be found on social media, posting music-related videos. When he’s not shredding it up, Eli loves going on adventures with his 2 dogs, working in his vegetable garden, and playing video games.
Greg — Rhythm Guitar

(PLACEHOLDER FOR HEADSHOT)
Greg started playing guitar at 18, but shortly after college, he put it down to focus on marriage, family, and his career. In 2020, he resumed his passion for playing music and the guitar. Since then, Greg has performed with the duo Neon Voices Music, doing acoustic covers of popular songs, and he’s stayed active with open mics, open jams, and his YouTube channel.
In 2025, he joined Rockslide as the rhythm guitarist. In 2026, Greg retired from the tech industry and now pursues music as a full-time hobby.
His musical influences include Duran Duran and Nile Rodgers, and his guitar hero is Eric Johnson. Outside of music, Greg enjoys open-water swimming, scuba diving, and stand-up paddleboarding.
John — Bass

(PLACEHOLDER FOR HEADSHOT)
John is THE bassist — delivering the groove, foundation, and tonal versatility that help drive the band’s sound.
His musical roots trace back to the late 1960s and early 1970s, when he performed in bands representing several rock styles, helping shape a playing style built around groove, feel, and service to the song.
After stepping away from music to pursue a career in the military and later government service, John returned to bass playing in 2017 and quickly rediscovered his passion for live performance. Drawing on influences spanning classic rock, soul, alternative rock, modern rock, and contemporary pop, he enjoys adapting his playing style to support the wide range of music Rockslide brings to the stage.
When he’s not performing, John enjoys traveling and staying active in local service organizations.
